First Update! Last Update For A While. Whoops!

Hello, and welcome to the ongoing development log for Your Kickstarter Survives, a video game based on a podcast!

I wanted to start this project because I wanted to develop some skills! So I decided to try to pseudo-recreate one of my favourite games of the past few years, Vampire Survivors by Poncle. Then I had the very dumb idea to base the story and content around my favourite podcast of the past few years, Your Kickstarter Sucks (with permission from the hosts, of course).

Now, a couple of months in, and it's almost kind of playable! Most of the items are still placeholders, the art isn't phenomenal (I'm not an artist but I'm trying!), and there are no sounds to speak of, but I'm really happy with how development is going!

Anyway, now I'm nearing the end of my computer science degree, and my capstone project will be taking the majority of my development time, so the next update on YKSurvives will probably not be until late April / early May.

So, with that, I will say goodbye for now, but not forever! Have a good one!
